Compassion

Back at the beach this morning for sunrise Kundalini meditation I had a huge feeling of gratitude, grace, compassion mercy and love coming to me. Tears came down knowing we must learn to be compassionate and graceful with others as well as ourselves. We are all human, we all have things happen in our lives that we could take as a bad thing, but we can always take them as a learning experience. You can honestly smile with your heart through anything.

Yogi Bhajan says, “The majority of the time people do not know anything about it. It has some petals, some energy, this and that—you can read about that in books, but what is this heart center, and what is this fight between heart and head?

The heart center means warmth, compassion, kindness, passion, hatred—everything which is wonderful in the world and everything which is rotten on the planet. They all come from the heart center. If you set your heart on something, your head will give in. That's why it is the most powerful center and extremely dangerous. On the other hand, this is the only center worth living with. Now see to the physical side of it: you have a heart, its electromagnetic field is its own; you can put a pacemaker in it and help it to beat for you. It pumps the entire blood and nurtures your every organ. It is responsible for supplying your lifeline and it works constantly, till it gets tired and says goodbye. This center is very enduring. It is made of two parts. One is physical, one is electromagnetic. It is one organ which has its own electromagnetic wavelength and composition. There are millions of words we say: “Open your heart,” “I hate you from the very bottom of my heart,” “My heart goes out to you.””

This week the issue of compassion has hit home for me.  My friend called from California and let me know that my other dear friend was hospitalized with a stoke. Wow! I was being called to do exactly what I’ve been training to do. To go to the hospital and provide her with care, taking, light, love and a smiling face. I have always had an issue with hospitals, but having to do this has been this biggest blessing in disguise from God. She has been asking me about my meditation practice and I have been able to share with her the healing power of God. She has not only listened, but today I walked into her hospital room she was smiling. She always smiles during any situation in life. She has shown me how to be happy and laugh in any situation. She has healed herself, she can now move her right arm, has a huge smile and is well on the way to meditating and praying herself to full feeling in her right arm and leg. I have been able to share love with her, but to be honest I think I’m the one learning from her. How to love all things, be happy in all things and know that you truly can heal yourself if you just do the work.

Thank you my sweet friend for bringing me back home to the beach. I love the energy here and I love you.

Light, Love and Peace to all of you
