Judgement

“If we take judging ourselves and others out of our life, we will mostly be living in paradise.”

–Yogi Bhajan

Our world would be such a better place if we let go of our preconceived notions and our judgments. What if we made it our religion to love and elevate rather than to fear and judge?

Yogi Bhajan once said, “If your security lies in God, then everything is normal. If your security lies in people, everything is abnormal.”

Where does your security lie? Does it lie in God? Or.... does it lie in the judgements of other people and your own self judgements? Many of us have the illusion that we are in love with God and with God. If we were honestly in love with God, He frees us from judgements.

I myself am still guilty of judging others. Unfortunately it has become part of our human fabric. God shows us how to not only love ourselves, but others in times of suffering, despair, fear and judgement.

God’s presence is soft, gentle and safe. God is not a harsh judge. GOD IS LOVE.

God gives us a path to forgiveness for ourselves and others through our daily spiritual practices.

Yogi Bhajan said, “Even if you have everything, if you do not know forgiveness, you have nothing.”

He also said, “Keep up to be Kept Up”.

“Keep up to be kept up” simply means.... keep up your spiritual practice and your relationship with God on a daily basis. Without God in our lives on a daily basis we will fall into the ways of the world. We will consume alcohol, take pills, do drugs, speak negatively about others, become materialistic, judge others and eat unhealthy.

Many people in this world watch news that changes their opinions about other people, creates prejudice and divides cultures. This work is not of God. This is not being neutral. GOD IS LOVE. No matter what, we are called to love all races, all cultures, all religions, all beings. We are not the judge and when I go before God I do not want him to say I was not showing light and love to all.

God says in Matthew 25:45, “I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.”

My desire is to be a shining light full of love. To be neutral. I love traveling the world and integrating into cultures. The majority of my best friends are not Americans. I have found a sweetness, gentleness and neutralness in other lands. I am always accepted into their families as one of their own.

The judgements in this world (western world especially) have created fear, hate and negativity. Judgements.

I am not naive. I stay informed. I just simply don’t live in fear. I travel with God by my side.

God said in Isaiah 41:10,“Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

IMG_9060.PNG

Yogi Bhajan said, “Travel Light, Live Light, Be Light.”

My prayer for you today is that you will be able to see the world through the eyes of God. Neutral eyes. Loving eyes. Caring eyes. See the world with unconditional love. I promise it’ll change your life. Neutral: look up, look in, look forward, look around and look back.

💫Today’s @innercompasscards Reading”💫

IMG_9063.PNG

“This card indicates there is something going in your life right now, that deserves to be seen without judgment. Everything is subjective and nothing is clinched in facts, it all depends on your perspective. The position that you take as an observer, is a clear-cut one to you. But, do you realize that what you believe, might not be the truth? Is it possible that you are stuck in your own story, like so many others? Can you be open to the possibility that your perspective is not the only one? Nor that it is the right one? Truthfully, you can never know what is right or wrong. The difference in value between gold and stone shifts under certain circumstances. You see, it is not reality that determines your perspective, your perspective determines reality. What you see is nothing but a projection of what is going on inside of you. It is therefore important to give yourself space to see what you see and feel what you feel, without preconceptions or conditionings. You might judge your feelings, keeping sorrow at bay and inviting joy over and over again. The thinking mind that is ruling here. the thoughts that reign are in turn determined by beliefs and experiences from the past. Once you learn how to shift in perspective, you give your thoughts the chance to become more flexible. Your black-and-white beliefs and absolute convictions will soften, enabling a more neutral position. Let this card be an inspiration to rediscover your true awareness. Follow your natural compass towards freedom.”
