Superfood Smoothie to Kickstart your Day

Serves 4 x 300ml Servings

INGREDIENTS

70g Purée Pumpkin 

22g Oats

500g Frozen Banana

500ml Filtered Water

5g Cinnamon 

5g Nutmeg 

5g Ginger

5g Cloves

15g Cacao Nibs

30g Date Syrup

17g Sesame Seeds

15g Walnuts

15g Maca Powder

15g Pomegranate Powder 

METHOD

Place All Ingredients in Blender and Blend for 3 Minutes. Pour into glass, top with a few cacao nibs for extra crunch. Enjoy. 

Frozen Bananas

At least ONE day ahead slice 3-4 Bananas and Place in a Freezer safe container or Buy Pre Frozen Bananas 

Purée Pumpkin

Instead of buying canned pumpkin with additives and preservatives make your own purée. Slice a medium sized pumpkin, seed and peel, cut into cubes and boil for 5-10min. 

Test softness with a fork. When pumpkin is soft, strain and place in blender. Blend for 3-4 min. Store in refrigerator for 2-3 days and freeze for up to a month. Fresh and easy.
